The weather in Amsterdam is most certainly a question people ask, especially the first timers. One common mis-conception is that people think of Amsterdam as more of a "holiday" when they visit... most probably because they're getting into a plane, which is an activity coupled with arriving in hot weather. This isn't always the case for Amsterdam.
Think of the weather in Amsterdam, like... the weather in England. It's temperamental, and subject to rapid change without warning. Amsterdam is only 275 miles east of Birmingham, in the UK. It's not much more north or south than Birmingham, so the best bet is to always prepare for the unexpected - but most importantly? Don't get it ruin you having a good time!
